10 SATs  There are changes to format of SATs tests this year  Children will not receive levels, but assessment based on raw scores and against a National Standard  Tests in Reading, maths and SPAG  There are no Level 6 papers

11 SATs  Maths (Arithmetic paper, 2 mathematical reasoning papers)  English (reading, spelling and grammar)  Teacher assessment of writing  Start date - Monday 9th May  Preparation- boosters  Results

12 The Wider Curriculum  Junior Citizens  PSHE  St George’s College Partnership  The Space  Workshops and themed days  Time to Shine – school productions, concerts, assembly, church celebrations, sporting fixtures  Day trips – cinema, theatre, Thorpe Park

13  Residential trip of five days and four nights duration  6 th – 10 th June 2016  You will have the opportunity to pay in monthly instalments.  A detailed itinerary is available. A meeting about the trip will take place on Wednesday 30th September at 3.15, children are welcome to attend. Isle of Wight
