6. Knowledge The concepts of philosophy and ethics prepare students for study in any field. Ultimately, every field addresses questions of human purpose, the elements of a good life, the nature of truth, reason and argument and what constitutes ethical conduct. Students critically engage with some of the greatest arguments offered throughout history, by some of the finest minds, building their knowledge about the most important questions of human life. Students reflect on the concepts in relation to their experience and engage passionately in discussions about knowledge that is relevant to their life today and throughout their life. 9. Fees 1. The fee for this course is $300 for one unit. Two units cost $600. 2. The required textbook cost $89.95 or $64.95 for the e-book. The same textbook is used in both units. 3. Students who are eligible for advanced standing save on their undergraduate course costs. Applications To apply students are asked to submit: 1. A completed application form, signed by a parent/guardian. 2. A personal statement of 500 words describing your interest in philosophy and ethics. 3.
