1 NANO SPACE STATION TEAM 7 NIKOLAY VATSOV, TEODORA TODOROVA, JOANA KOLEVA

2 Nikolay - Structural design and temperature analysis of the nano space station, coordinator of the team, CO2 and O2 sensors, programming Teodora - Electronics and power management, programming, 3D model, time-line manager Joana - Bioreactor design, choice of specific species, growing of the living organisms

3 28. September - 11. October: Choice of organisms; Comprehensive data on the organisms 12. October - 18. October: Choice of instruments; Bioreactor scheme 19. October - 26. October: Design Document; Electrical block diagram; Fungus probe - initial research start; 3D model 27. October - 01. November: First prototype  02. November - 08. November: Evaluation and iterations on first prototype; Evaluation of collected data on fungus probe  09. November - 15. November: Second prototype; Evaluation and iterations  23. November - 29. November: Prototype test and preparation for presentation  30. November: Final Deadline Pressure Thermal control Bacteria + Mushroom (As of 17.00h, prototype not assembled yet)

4 Isolation will be put on the walls of the structure to protect the specimens from radiation and to help sustain the right temperature on the station. For the process of photosynthesis light will be provided through UV LEDs. Their intensity will be controlled, thus enabling control over the speed of the photosynthesis and hence the production of O2 and the consumption of CO2. The following will also be needed: IR light source and temperature sensors to maintain constant temperatures in both compartments of the station; substrate for the Amarilla gallica which will be provided once at the beginning of the mission; liquid medium for the Synechocystis and the Fragilaria pinnata.
