14 Dress Code Business Attire: Suits of own choice within guidelines Y10 WMG Academy tie provided PE kit flexible relevant to activity (Each student will have their own locker)

15 Reporting Absence Phone main reception before 8.30 am on the first day of absence Email before 8.30 am on the first day of absence Continued updates on student absences through half termly reports Intervention and support triggered with attendance below expected targets (Academy target is 95%) The Academy is unable to authorise holidays in term time

16 Tutor Groups Learners will be divided into year groups Tutor is the first point of contact for parents Tutor will be responsible for identifying any key issues surrounding their tutees If students have any issues (even the small ones) we would like to know Tutor phone call to all parents in first month to introduce themselves and make sure learners are settling in

21 Cashless payment system, using a biometric finger technology payment system, for use in the canteen. Unique usernames and passwords issued to every student at the beginning of the new academic year. The unique username and password will allow Parents/Carers to log-on to ParentPay and activate/remunerate their sons/daughters account

22 First Day/Week Wednesday 7 th September – Y10 student induction. 8.30 am - 4.30 pm, business dress. Parents cannot drive into the carpark to drop off. Timetable check, photo security cards and biometrics. Baseline tests within the first week.
