1 Pipette parts assemble ‘example 3’ Assembly operations presented with the 1000 ÷ 5000μl model! Following hints applicable to models: Important disassemble note: To disassemble the pipette lower part, it is necessary to remove the tip ejector first. Models 5 &10ml, unlike other single channel pipettes are equiped with screwed-in ejector. To release ejector, pull out the ejector button and turn the ejector arbor counter-clockwise. DV/D1000, LMP/LM1000, OP1000 DV/D5000, LMP/LM5000, OP5000 DV/D10000, LMP/LM10000, OP10000

2 32 Pipette parts assemble ‘example 3’ 1. Place a piston on the table. Piston of models 1, 5 or 10ml is provided as an assay, it includes the spring and compression elements! 2. Place a compresion bush on the piston. Bush has a conical shape in 5 & 10ml pipettes, make sure to place it with the narrower end upwards (it must be tightly connected to the piston assay). 3. Put a thin layer of grease on the piston. The piston needs to be moistured slightly around the top part, remove any excess of grease!

[Filter is used in 5 & 10ml pipettes only] 5. Attach the assembly with the handle and tighten the shaft against the handle. Models 5/10ml do not include shaft nut. To fix the pipette tighten the shaft! 6. Screw-in the tip ejector. Turn the ejector arbor clockwise. Leave a thin (~1mm) gap between ejector and shaft!
