This CASBO Local Control Funding Formula Infographic is intended to help initiate and facilitate community engagement during the LCFF development process. Page One: This page is a Statewide Funding view and should not require updates except for including your district name in the top blue header. The Future Focus box section can be tailored to your district. Page Two: This page is a district-specific summary. Please update the following: 1.Insert your district logo in the top blue header and include your district’s name. Select Insert from the menu bar, click on the Pictures button. Browse to your logo image and insert into the PowerPoint slide. 2.District Snapshot Section: Update the District Snapshot section to include number of schools, number of students, and LCFF Budget details. The LCFF budget information can be found on the Dataquest LCFF Reports page online.Dataquest LCFF Reports 3.LCAP Priorities Section: Update the three major LCAP priorities section to include content that is specific to your district on the Conditions of Learning, Engagement, and Outcomes. The bullet points should highlight examples of activities to meet these three priority areas. Include dollar figures where appropriate. To update the graph, select the graph including the larger box around it. Right click and select Edit Data to edit the chart details. Data labels and other chart features can be changed this way as well. Ensure the chart %s on the final chart reflect your district percentages. In the gray box at the bottom, insert District Contact information with a desired Call to Action that pertains to your next steps. For example, “Join Us at your next community meeting on July 7 th ” or “Reach out to your district representative to find out more about how to support our LCAP initiatives.” 4.Update Sources section at the bottom with location of where you acquired district specific details, especially for LCAP priorities. 5.To distribute, save the PowerPoint as a PDF to ensure fonts and details are printable/legible.
