INTRODUCTION “ Every man's memory is his private literature.” ~Aldous Huxley. If I wrote down every memory I had I could be a best-selling novelist. I enjoy the escape that a book offers. You can be taken into other time periods, countries, even dimensions. A former English teacher got me interested in teaching, ironically because I didn’t like the way she taught. I want to be able to make English, specifically world literature, fun and exciting. In order to get a better understanding of my career as a cake decorator, I will be researching the nature of the work, working conditions, training, qualifications, advancement, job outlook/employments, earnings, and a backup occupation.

CONCLUSION After researching this occupation I definitely am still interested in becoming a World Literature Professor. Not only am I encouraged by the rapidly growing employment rate, but I simply enjoy teaching and helping others. Positively affecting young people’s lives will definitely be my favorite part of my career. I’m not exactly thrilled about having to grade papers, but I am more than willing to do a tedious job to be able to do something I adore; teaching. Overall, I learned that postsecondary teaching is more prosperous than I imagined and I am definitely excited to go into a career in postsecondary teaching.
