10 The EAPVP Forum - Challenges The EAPVP Forum - Challenges 1.Political difficulty to develop/amend PVP law. 2.Difficulty to start a “fully equipped” examination system. Overcome through mutual cooperation in the region.

If UPOV TG/draft exist, use as basis document If not, use terminology of similar UPOV TG or TGP 7. Based on technical discussion, the meeting agreed on the following principles for EAPVP Forum TGs: Report of 6 th EAPVP Forum Meeting

Use of example variety is optional. Member countries are encouraged to use EAPVPF Harmonized TG in their examination when and as appropriate. Top Page > Test Guidelines 3. Workshop on APSA Position on IPRs (May.2015)24 Summary Summary 1.Mutual cooperation and harmonization is key for PVP development in ASEAN region. 2.PVP is benefit for the seed industry, and therefore, farmers and consumers of Asia Pacific region. 3. APSA and EAPVP Forum can, and should do more together!
