Brief Description: For this assignment I was to create and present a Power Point focusing on a hot topic in education. I chose technology & online learning. Rational: Connecting concepts through web based information to teach different perspectives, engage learners to think, creatively and engage in concepts through collaborative learning via internet (Blackboard, and videos) in order to educate the next generation in real time. Standard #5: Application of Content: The teacher understands how to connect concepts and use differing perspectives to engage learners in critical thinking, creativity, and collaborative problem solving related to authentic local and global issues.
