4 Fire procedure If you hear the fire alarm you must:- STOP what you are doing Leave the room via the designated route Assemble in the designated area You must not return to the building until told to do so to pack up up you belongings.

5 Mobile Phones. Please switch off your mobile or put in SILENT mode Please leave the classroom if you have to take a mobile phone call

6 Please respect the disabled parking bays.

7 Attendance Please telephone us to let us know if you are unable to attend your class at any time. In the event that we have to cancel a class we will telephone or email you – please ensure we have your correct details. Cancellations due to adverse weather conditions will be posted on the ‘Latest News’ bulletin board on the Continuing Education VLE site –Please ensure you check before leaving for your class. www.stockport.gov.uk/vle

Please let your tutor know if you feel discriminated against or are subject to bullying or unsafe practices. 12 Health and Safety A First Aid Box is available on the premises. You will be required to complete an incident report for all accidents For emergencies call 999 or 112

13 Refer to the Kitchen Safety Rules issued by your tutor.

14 Essential Food &Kitchen Safety Please…….. Wear an apron at all times Wipe down work surfaces with an antibacterial cloth Wash hands before starting to prepare food Be aware of the risks of cross contamination of food whilst you work Leave jewellery at home Cover cuts and grazes with a blue plaster Remember your shirt is not an oven glove!!

You will be given an enrolment ‘key’ so that you can access your individual course page which will be available for the duration of the course.
