1. 1 Creating a FNMA 1003 V.3.2.txt file that can be uploaded and submitted to emasshousing.com In order to upload a 1003 file to emasshousing.com you need to save the 1003 file on your computer (in this example it will be saved to your desktop) as a text document. The 1003 must be a Version 3.2 file format. 2. 2 Part 2: Uploading a 1003 text file from your desktop to emasshousing.com Step 1. Go to your desktop. Locate the 1003 file. The 1003 file you just exported will appear as an icon on your desktop. The file extension should be.txt.

From your homepage, navigate to the 1003 File Uplink section and click Submit 1003 File If you see the phrase “You do not have access to B2B submit functionality.” in the 1003 File Uplink section on your Homepage, please contact your System Administrator (they will need to adjust your access levels on emasshousing.com ). 5. 5 Step 4. The upload screen appears. Click the Browse button. The Choose file window will appear. Make sure the Look In dropdown in this window has DESKTOP selected. 6. 6 Step 5. From the Choose file window, locate the file you want to upload (remember the file name is Test Loan.1003.txt Click on the the file name. The file name will be highlighted and will appear in File name in the Choose file window. 7. 7 Step 6. The link to the file you selected to upload will appear in the filename window on this page. Click Next. The upload process could take several minutes. Please wait for the process to complete… do not click other buttons, or do not re-click the Next button. Please be patient and wait for the process to finish!!! 8. 8 Step 7. During the upload process the system will perform some validations. Once the file upload process has completed you will either pass or fail these validations: An Originator Loan Number has been entered. Zip Code (the property is located in Massachusetts). Owner occupancy. The purpose of loan. If these validations pass, you will be brought into the loan tab flow of emasshousing.com (See A below). If these validations fail, you will be given a invalid submission message. Click Cancel to be returned to your Homepage. (See B below).
