Online Text & Journals Almost the same thing Allows students to type text in the web browser You see all assignments on one page and can respond/grade/comment directly Great for short research and written tasks Really easy to grade

Upload Single File Allows students to upload a file for you to grade Can be any type of digital file: MS Word, Excel, PPT, image, mp3 etc… Use the Moodle to assign a grade and offer comments as feedback Settings: Resubmitting, Email alerts, max file size

Advanced Uploading of Files Same as before, but students can submit more than one file and also drafts Teacher can comment on drafts, return files, and grade final submission Settings: same as previous + multiple file submission, max # of files and submissions, allow students to type a note & return a file as feedback

Turnitin.com When you want to check for plagiarism Major essays Can recheck a submitted document, great for drafts! IB teachers MUST use this for internal assessments

Other Assignments Glossary: great for classes that have a lot of terminology, kids can add/edit entries Database: great for cataloguing article reading AudioRecorder: allows students to record and upload an MP3 file! (students need a computer with a mic)
