1 Exercise # 1 Access the SM All Items View Grid / Determine how Many Dairy Items there are? 1.Go to Supplier Monitor Tab 2.In the “Select an Item” box, start typing “All” to find “All Items”, then select it. 3.Click on “Show Suppliers” 1.The grid should now show Items 4.Find the column “Item Group” 5.In the search header, type “Dairy” 6.Using the row counter at the bottom let, determine the number of dairy items. 3 Exercise # 3 Adding a New Document Requirement for your New Supplier 1.Go to Documents tab 2.Click on “Documents Group” at bottom bar 3.Click on “Add New” bottom left 4.Select “Supplier Group” from Apply To drop down list 5.Select the supplier group you created in the Supplier Group drop down list 6.In the Document group box, find and select “Food Contact Packaging Certificate of Compliance“ 7.Check the document required 8.Enter “365” for number of days effective 9.Click on the “add” button 10.Save *You have now set up a Supplier Level required document for your new supplier (supplier group). 4 Exercise # 4 Email Selected Filter for Supplier “TGCArochaSupplier” on the documents tab 1.Select the five documents below and click on “Email Selected” and email the docs to yourself 1.3 rd party audit 2.Insurance 3.Supplier Product Guarantee 4.Food Contact Packaging Certificate of Compliance 5.Contact Information 2.Drag the files out of your email and save them on your desktop Adding Documents to your new supplier (drag and drop) 1.Filter on the documents tab to your supplier 2.Adjust screen so that you can view docs tab and the docs you saved on one screen 3.Drag a file to the grey edit gear for the row for that doc requirement 4.Repeat for the top four documents 5.Using far left column, Select all supplier document rows 6.Click grey edit gear of one of the selected rows 7.Set status to “OK” 8.Set Workflow to “Completed” 9.Set Effective Date to “3/4/2015” 10.Save You can now go back to Supplier Monitor and see how this changed your score card %. 5 Exercise # 5 A) Adding a new Item, adding in an existing attribute, assigning your item to your supplier 1.Go to the Configuration Tab 2.Click on “Items” 3.Click on “Add New” at the bottom left 4.Populate item Group like below 1.PkgFCYourLastName 5.Enter item name 1.Start with a 3 letter Company ID 2.YourLastName 3.“Item” 4.EX: TGCSmithItem 6.Enter Item hID 1.Use the same code as you created for name 2.EX: TGCSmithItem 7.No need to populate description 8.Save Side Note: This new item group will now be available to assign a required doc to. B) Assign new item to your supplier 1.Search for new item using the hID or name columns 2.Select the item using the far left column 3.Click on “assign suppliers” bottom bar 4.Find your supplier 5.Select (check) 6.Click on “Add selected suppliers” 7.Your item is now associated with your supplier. 6 Exercise # 6 Adding Attribute to Item level SupplierTraceStation 1.Go to Configuration tab 2.Go to TraceStations 3.Filter on Group SME (Supplier Monitor Enterprise) 4.Click on the grey gear of the one with “default” – this represents the items level TraceStation 5.Add “Ingredient Declaration” attribute to section 6 6.Save You should now find this attribute show up on your supplier items TraceStation in the supplier monitor. 7 Exercise # 7 Create Email Template / add requirements text and FDA Attribute to body 1.Go to Configuration tab 2.Go to Email templates 3.Click on “Add New” 4.Fill out Group 1.Customer Conf Training 5.Enter Template Name 1.Start with a 3 letter Company ID 2.YourLastName 3.“EmailTemplate” 4.EX: TGCSmithEmailTemplate 6.Enter Subject 1.Type “##CompanyName##” – New Regulatory Requirement Notice – Action Required 7.Enter ##Supplier Name## in the body 8.Add ##FDA Registration # Derived## and write a brief message to inform them that if their FDA number is not on file, they must submit it via attached ActionForm. 8 Exercise # 8 Adding FDA Registration # Attribute to Contact Information ActionForm 1.Access the Contact Information ActionForm you save on your desktop 2.Open Contact Information ActionForm 3.Go to Developer Tab 4.Insert a plain text control 5.Add title and tag to match configured hID 1.FDA Registration # 6.Make sure content control cannot be deleted 7.Hit OK 8.Add brief text to signify supplier must fill out their FDA Registration # and ensure contact info is correct. 9.Save Attaching updated Contact Information ActionForm to email template 1.Go to Configuration tab 2.Go to Email templates 3.Find your email template 4.Click on “attach document” 5.Choose file, navigate to your ActionForm and attach 6.Save Copyright 2015 TraceGains, Inc.Company Confidential
