1. Spirit Wear Friday’s Coming to a school near YOU!

2. What is “Spirit Wear”? A piece of clothing designed to show support for a specific sport, team, school, person, or organization. This clothing usually has specific letters, pictures, or wording catered to encouraging a specific organization.

3. What’s in store for North Middle students? S.W.F’s Spirit Wear Friday’s This is an opportunity for you to wear spirit wear clothing and jeans on FRIDAY’S!

4. S.W.F.’s Guidelines All students who are in a proper uniform (according to the North Middle Dress Code) from Monday through Thursday of that week, will receive an opportunity to enjoy “Spirit Wear Friday”!

5. How does this happen? During the week, teachers will ‘silently’ check each students’ uniform and mark if you are “Accepted” or “Denied” for that class period in their Google Doc. On Thursday during AE, if you qualify for SWF (the next day), you will receive a special “Spirit Ticket”!

6. Dress Code Guidelines

7. Solid color any blue, yellow, gray or white Only school logos are allowed. Shirts must be collared, button-up, polo style, or turtleneck Collared or turtleneck shirts must be worn under Shirts, Sweaters, Sweatshirts (Tops)

8. Spirit sweatshirts that don’t zip up can be worn without a collar shirt underneath. Sweatshirts must be worn right side out Shirts must be long enough to be tucked in (but do not have to be tucked in) Shirt must have sleeves No Tee shirts can be worn as top shirt Shirts, Sweaters, Sweatshirts (Tops)

9. Pants, shorts, capris, gauchos, skorts or skirts (bottoms) Tan, khaki, navy or black bottoms ONLY! Only school logos are allowed No more than one size larger than waist size All bottoms must be worn at the waist Pants, shorts, capris, gauchos, skorts and skirts must be hemmed. Shorts, capris, skirts, skorts and gauchos may not be shorter than the student’s arm length

10. Bottoms…Continued No baggy or sagging pants or shorts are permitted No sweatpants, denim, or pants with the appearance of denim!!! No sweatpants, denim, or pants with the appearance of denim!!! No tight, form-fitting pants (ex. Leggings)!!! No tight, form-fitting pants (ex. Leggings)!!!
