Purpose of the study What are the perceptions held by teachers on Action Research as a requirement for effective classroom language teaching at Toco Anglican Primary School?

What are perceptions? ways of seeing or understanding impact our teaching practice (Liao, 2007; Kuzborska, 2011) life experiences in society, prior schooling, professional education, and teaching experience (Gabillon, 2012).

What is action research? a natural part of teaching (Miller, 2007) to investigate classroom behaviours of both teachers and students with the aim of improving teachers' practice and enhancing students’ learning
