1.Wear brightly coloured or fluorescent clothes. They show up well in daylight and at dusk.

2. Wear reflective gear when it’s dark so you can be seen in car headlights.

3. Accessorise! Clip on reflectors, armbands and stickers on your coat or school bag are funky and keep you safe!

4. If you cycle, it’s the law to have lights on your bike at night (white at the front, red at the back) and a rear reflector.

5. Being bright isn’t the only way to stay safe when it’s dark. Choose routes and crossing places that are well lit and always use the Green Cross Code.
