European Board - CR Parliament Meeting in Liverpool, November First draft of the Statute prepared Quality of the CR Parliament improved National Coordinators supported existing co productions and improved selection of trainees, but there is room for improvement Need to activate remaining members, since most of the CR activities are supported by the same number of countries

The best investment is the one in our young generations and CR remains dedicated to this activity High quality training that recognizes and follows the needs of member stations CR has trained more than 750 trainees in the past nine years More and more often Prix Circom winners are recruited among former CR trainees

The Only Award for Excellency on the Regional Level – Prix Circom Kolding, Denmark – Tv Syd - fantastic premises and organisation More entries – 177 (173), but from fewer countries 21 (26) Top counties by number of entries: Poland, France, Hungary, United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Croatia, Ireland Thank you Tim Johnson and Lene Kruger for being perfect hosts And sorry Tim, you can not invite the whole AC for a dinner at your home next year – judges were the lucky ones Thanks also to the judges who came from 14 countries (Poland, Croatia, Sweden, Ireland, Germany, Denmark, United Kingdom, Slovenia, France, The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Greece, Romania, Spain) And to the good ghost of the Prix – David Lowen Congratulations once more to the winners See you next year in Maribor, Slovenia

Next Steps… Big survey on CR activities to better identify the needs of member stations Results to be presented to the EB in November Preparation of the Action plan 2006- 2009 Look for alternative sources of funding Implementation of the Connecting Europe strategy – proactive approach to the European Institutions Co-productions – find new ways to co produce and create guidelines for the co-productions among members. Money should not be the only drive for co- productions
