ET needs Real ET activities will start when advanced detectors will be operative and “first detection” occurred, but, meanwhile The design of ET needs to evolve from the conceptual phase to the technical one The site candidate list must be reduced arriving to few possibilities The infrastructures must be designed and customized for the few sites The detector design must evolves according to the lessons learned in the advanced interferometers R&D on specific ET items (cryogenics, Silicon optics, lasers, GGN suppression) must be performed in the next years Science Team activities must be coordinated and ET must be present on the major GW conferences 3rd ET annual workshop - Budapest 23- 24/11/20104
