2.  The Department is the nodal agency of the Haryana Government for formulating the design of Government Buildings in the most economical & aesthetically appealing manner.  The Department plays a key role in the development of infrastructure in the state being a service department.  It renders Architectural Services to all Government Departments and also the Boards, corporations and Universities of the state in efficient manner. 3.  The Department plans and designs wide spectrum of building types: ranging from a small house of 450 Sq. Ft. area to multi-storeyed Administrative complexes.  This Department has also been conferred upon awards and commendation certificate by various bodies/ agencies in the field of Architecture. 12. B.P.S. Mahila University, Khanpur Kalan, District Sonepat. This university for Women is the first of its kind in India. Inaugurated by Smt. 15. GOVT. HOUSING Due to constraints in availability of land for development, the State of Haryana was divided in two zones as per the density of population for the housing norms. Traditionally used brick façade was replaced with modern exterior finishes. ARCHITECTURE

16. GOVT. COLLEGE FOR WOMEN AT PANCHKULA The building is planned around central Courtyard for better air circulations. The building has capacity for 2250 students. ARCHITECTURE

17. COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRES This building is Thirty bedded Hospital. This can even be increased to 50 Bedded Hospital by adding one more floor. Total covered area = 25850 Sq ft. ARCHITECTURE
