Time Prepositions (in, at, on) we use ‘at’ with times, special periods (e.g. celebrations) and in some phrases. at 3 o’clock at five to seven at nightat the weekend at noonat the moment at Christmasat dinnertime

Time Prepositions ( in, at, on) we use ‘in’ with parts of the day, months, seasons,years,centuries, etc. in the eveningin the past/future in Decemberin the Ice Age in the winterin 1990 in the twentieth centuryin the 1990s

Time Prepositions (in, at, on) we use ‘on’ with days and dates, including special days on Thursday on the 31st of October on 20 Sept. 2010 on Christmas Day on Independence Day on my birthday

Time Prepositions (in, at, on) We don’t use time prepositions immediately before adverbs or adverbial phrases, today, tomorrow, last/this/next week
