Complete WEP Developed Hardware & Software, including Low Level Microcontroller ELM Chip no longer used by WEP Developed for International OBDII Standards, specifically to address Non-Compliant SAE Vehicles Gasoline, Diesel, Hybrid and Bi-Fuel Vehicles Diesel capabilities include J1939

DAD drivers are USB certified and completely plug-n- play, The WEP DAD has been completely designed, including microcontroller, and produced without any 3rd party vendors, making the WEP DAD completely customizable and expandable, USB Port Power Button 5 volt external port Self-powered, powered from vehicle, through the USB port, or external 5 volt supply.

Compatible for use on 12/24 volt systems, Tri-colored LED communication status indicator (linked to computer using USB cable or wireless connection, data being transmitted or not, firmware update), Replaceable cable section Tri-colored LED power status indicator to notify user of power status (0 volt / 12 volt / 24 volt)

Supports all standardized SAE J1979 service modes ($01 - $0A), Supports OBD communication protocols for emissions related data transmission including SAE J1939,

Proprietary communication between DAD and OIS computer to avoid data “snooping”, Anti-tampering system that renders the DAD inoperable if the case is opened, Unique MAC address and serial #.

Manual modes available that are supported by all standardized SAE J1979 service modes ($01 - $0A), Supports OBD communication protocols for emissions related data transmission including SAE J1939

Wireless operation with computer, minimum 30’ range*, Automatic switching between USB cable or wireless operation, simply connect or disconnect USB cable, Expandable to operate with other on-board systems such as ABS, SRS, etc. for enhancements to safety inspection programs. * Specific exceptions exist, refer to Operators Manual for further information
