Hypothesis & Research What do you need to have before you can make a good hypothesis? If you don’t have it, how do you get it? Click on the thinker to find out. Don’t forget to record your answer.

The Experiment Describe the four things you need to do to plan a good experiment. Click on the scientist to find out. Remember to record your ideas.

Observations A good scientist records all of his or her observations and reports them to others. What are the 2 types of data and how do you report them? Record your answers on your Journal sheet. Click on the graph to find out.

Conclusion Why is the conclusion important? What should you do if your hypothesis is wrong? Click on the little boy for some help.

Check your answers Click on Annie & Moby to go to Brain Pop Jr. and watch the Scientific Method video. After you have watched the video 2 times, play the game. Now check the answers you recorded on your Journal sheet. In the last box “What did I learn?” record 2 new things about the scientific method that Annie and Moby helped you learn.
