Transportation (1/4) Nanjing has one international airport with direct flights to several overseas cities, such as Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Inchon, Tokyo etc. There are also many transferring-flights from Beijing/Guangzhou/Hong kong etc. It has the largest High-speed railway station (Nanjing South Railway Station) in Asia, connecting to Shanghai within 1.5 hours railway range. Metro-line S1 connects the international airport and Nanjing South Railway Station within 50 minutes range, easily accessing the Innercity. You can easily take taxi or metro almost everywhere in Nanjing Innercity. The distance scale in Nanjing Innercity is small, e.g. the distance between two metro-stations are just 1-2km, so your moderate walk/jog can cover sufficient/nice areas around.
