Operator Side What was missing for production ? –Monitoring –Authentication –High Availability –Load balancing –Scalability 13
14
Authentication Allow FedID account : Shibboleth Only authenticated users can create a new room. All guest participants can join a room without authentication. 14
15
Videobridges High Availability Jitsi Videobridge can run with multiple bridges Renater deployed 2 bridges It allows to operate the service with redundancy and load balancing 15
16
Loadbalancing The 2 videobridges successfully balanced the workload 16
17
First service statistics Bridges specifications: –8 vcpu –8 GB Memory –Network interface 1 GB For the two first months: –5000 conferences (2500 conf per month) –Total conference time : 209088 Min, 3484 H,145 days –Conference average time : 42 min. 17
18
Scalability Processor usage 18
19
Scalability Bandwith usage 19
