Lockout Hasps 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(5)(ii)(C)(1) Lockout devices shall be substantial enough to prevent removal without the use of excessive force or unusual techniques, such as with the use of bolt cutters or other metal cutting tools

The following examples illustrate tampered lockout hasps These hasps are easily pried open with minimal effort The construction & design does not provide adequate protection based on industry standards

New Lockout Hasp 4 or 8 locks Heavy-duty hinge-style hasp offers added pry resistance Steel construction with 9/32" diameter shackles This new hasp will restore lockout security
