Email Addresses Email addresses follow general pattern of: –forename.surname@ manorschool.northants.sch.uk When duplicate names exist an 01 is generally appended e.g. –forename.surname01@ manorschool.northants.sch.uk

SIMS.net The start short cut will always work: –start → All Programs → SIMS Applications → SIMS. net –The first log on will provide an opportunity to change the password

SIMS Updates One major update per quarter Support will email warning prior to update Do not interrupt the upgrade process Let the upgrade finish If the upgrade fails, contact the ICT team

The Wireless Network

Wireless Problems Not a perfect solution as frequencies are in an unlicensed area of spectrum Low signal Roaming Interference from microwaves, baby monitors, neighbouring WiFi etc. Always close SIMS and save files before moving
