Then simply follow the prompts to complete the transaction. If you set to xpressbillpay up to autopay, the amount payment will be made automatically on the day. Multiple accounts can be set up under one login (email address). This could be advantageous to property managers or persons with several accounts to quickly track and pay multiple accounts at one time. Paper bills can be discontinued upon request

Direct Pay The customer can sign up for direct pay by completing a form at City Hall and attaching a voided check or savings slip The City will send an electronic ACH request to the bank about the 16 th of each month to withdraw the amount due from the customers checking or savings account The first cycle is a “pre-note” or test to make sure the system is set up properly. Actual payment will not occur until the following month.

Direct Pay The customer still receives a paper bill and can call the office between receipt of the bill and the 16 th if there are issues This method is slower than xpressbillpay

Over the Phone Customers can call in to the staff during normal working hours at 775-784-9930 to pay over the phone VISA, Mastercard, and EFT are accepted Other types of transactions such as deposits and miscellaneous charges can be paid over the phone The customer is read a confirmation number to document the transaction

Drop Box The customer drop box is conveniently located in front of City Hall by the flag poles Customers do not have to get out of their car because they can drive right in front of city hall and use the drop box through the driver’s side window Available 24/7

Mail Return envelopes are provided to conveniently return checks in the mail Mailed in payments are promptly posted to customer accounts

Third Party Bill Pay Services Most third party bill pay services actually issue a paper check to the City for payment. Customer should allow sufficient time for these services to issue checks and for the City to receive and post the checks. The City electronically receives certain clearinghouse payments for certain bill pay services. However, only xpressbillpay.com can provide on-line information about the Customer account

Customer service representatives are available to answer questions or provide assistance in setting up xpressbillpay for customers who may require assistance
