11 Preliminary feasibilty study table top First rough guess/ check for the load carrying capacity (no «results» yet) Will be continued to verify: Reasonable to roll the loads everywhere on the table ? Distributed load, point loads from wheels What kind of stiffness/ maximum deformations can we ask for in the specification? 13 Velocity/ accelerations 510 mm/ 10 minutes or 0.85 mm/sec Very low accelerations, should be not a problem if we avoid mechanical blockage. To be done: estimate with some lead screws/balls screws the combination gear ratio/ torque, self locking, step frequency over longer cables. Remark : What determines the maximum allowable accelerations : the mechanical/ alignment integrity or the angle of the helium level ? EDMS:1612033
