2 The Audit Process : The financial statements are the responsibility of the institute’s management Management is also responsible for internal controls necessary to enable financial statements are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error We conduct our audit in accordance with Canadian generally accepted auditing standards Our objective is to obtain reasonable assurance that the financial statements are free of material misstatement We assess the risk of material misstatement in the financial statements, then choose procedures to gather appropriate evidence to obtain reasonable assurance that financial statements are fairly presented. Materiality based on range of 1% to 2% of gross expenses - $18,000 We also evaluate appropriateness of accounting policies, management estimates and overall financial statement presentation

3 The Auditors’ Report Gives our final opinion: The financial statements are fairly presented in all material respects and in accordance with Canadian Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit organizations.
