Alkali (metals) family Group #1 (Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, Fr) Not H 1 electron in outer shell Characteristics include: reactive (blow up), shiny, meallable (shape with hammer), ductile (conduct electricity) Brainiac: Alkali Metals
