2 Club Overview -The UVM Ski and Snowboard Club is the largest paid member club at UVM. We provide skiers and snowboarders transportation to the mountains, trips during school vacations, and bring skiing and snowboarding events to campus. -We are the largest college ski and snowboard club in Vermont: over 650 members for 2005/2006; over 350 already for 2006/2007, 1000+ expected. -Our members are involved: we often have over 200 people at our on- campus events. Our free shuttles that run four days a week all winter to Stowe, Sugarbush, and Bolton Valley usually have more than 30 riders. -Our members ski and snowboard frequently: 348 members reported buying a season pass last year. -Our members are connected: our website receives more than 200 hits a day, our email list is over 700 people, and our Facebook group has nearly 700 members.

3 Events Preview -First General Meeting: Sept. 26 7pm Ira Allen Chapel. Our largest event of the year where we will be signing up new members, discussing upcoming events and trips, announcing member benefits and giving away tons of prizes. Last year was standing room only, this year we expect over 500 people to attend. -Meathead Film’s “Snow Gods” World Premiere: October 6 CC Theater. -Teton Gravity Research’s “Anomaly” Film Tour Stop: October 14 Higher Ground. -THAT University Tour Stop: October 16 CC Theater -Second General Meeting: Date TBD -Numerous film showings and other events in the works!

4 Trips Preview -Jackson Hole, WY January 2-9 2007. Last year we had over 70 students travel to Jackson for a week of powdery fun in the Tetons! -Breckenridge, CO March 11-16 2007. Our first trip to Breckenridge. Slopeside lodging, famous park scene, and lift tickets good at multiple resorts make this trip thrilling. -Free buses on the weekends to Stowe and Sugarbush -Free buses on Thursday nights, Friday nights, and Saturdays to Bolton Valley -Weekend trips to Stratton, Mount Tremblant, Killington, Okemo, Mount Snow and more

5 Sponsorship Opportunities -We like to offer our members great benefits from club membership and look to our sponsors for these benefits. Discounts for our members, member- only events at your business, general sponsorship of the club, event production support, giveaway prizes, and event sponsorship are just a few of our interests. -We can offer your business any combination of the following: -link/logo on our website -display banner at our meetings/events -logo on our membership card -link on the bottom of emails on the email list -logo on promotional materials -posting of business events on our website -title sponsorship of an event -product giveaways -slide in pre-meeting slide show -logo and link on our Facebook group -inclusion in emails -listing on our benefits website -logo on shirts and other products -custom apparel orders -shuttle bus sponsorship -speak at one of our meetings

6 UVM SSC & The Alpine Shop The UVM Ski and Snowboard Club places special value on its relationships with local ski and snowboard retailers, including the Alpine Shop. We have found that our members look for us to be highly involved in the local ski industry and we see our local shops as the best connection. Below is a list of possible sponsorship options specifically for the Alpine Shop. -Promotion of shop events and sales on uvmssc.com -Placement of logo on certain club materials, including uvmssc.com -Title sponsorship of specific on-campus events including rail jams and movie showings -Title sponsorship of equipment education clinics -Product giveaways at our events -Promotional material distribution at club events -Many other possibilities
