16 Healthy Ageing KIC WM AHSN as lead UK organisation with Birmingham Science City, LAs, secondary, community, mental health and primary health providers, plus WM universities on UK element of bid to create EIC healthy living and active ageing consortium Group worked with Oxford, Imperial and Newcastle universities plus industry core partner Intel UK EIT Health partnership ultimately a consortium of >50 core partners and 90 associate partners from leading businesses, research centres and universities across 14 EU countries EIT Health was designated as an EIT Knowledge & Innovation Community (KIC) by the EIT Governing Board on 9 December 2014 More than 2 Bn Euros over the next 7years
