Bloodborne Pathogens Refresher Training Using the CITI Program

Biosafety Occupational Health Program On your computer… Make sure you have internet access Navigate to https://www.citiprogram.org/https://www.citiprogram.org/ Register as a “New User” –Your participating institution is Texas A&M University Create your username and password Create your security questions Provide your name and email address Answer some demographic questions for CITI Answer a few more questions….. Click “Submit”

Biosafety Occupational Health Program Your CITI Profile Please complete the user survey – this information is requested by Texas A&M. Click “Submit”

Biosafety Occupational Health Program Select Your Curriculum For bloodborne pathogens refresher training, go to item #7 and click the dot next to “BBP Refresher” Click “Submit” Check your affiliation – if you are not affiliated with Texas A&M University, you will not get credit for taking the course! Click “NO” to continue

Biosafety Occupational Health Program Main Menu In center of page, look for “My Courses” Next to BBP Refresher, see status is “Not Started-Enter” Click “Enter” Follow the directions for completing the integrity assurance statement, then the three training modules

Biosafety Occupational Health Program Take The Quiz Answer the questions to the best of your ability Click on the “Submit” button Once your quiz has been graded, you can retry if you missed questions OR If you got all the answers correct, click on “Return to Main Menu”

Biosafety Occupational Health Program Getting Credit For your records, you can print a copy of your completion by clicking “Print” located under “My Courses” on the same line as the course name – “BBP Refresher” The Office of Research Compliance and Biosafety can access your completion records directly on CITI
