Many migrants face oppression even after they make it to their destination. US- Welcomed people to help settle frontier yet once closed most wanted to stop immigration Governmental study in 1911 stated that people from Southern & Eastern Europe were racially inferior (Crime) Recently in California have voted to deny services to undocumented people for public services, schools, day care, clinics etc. Cultural Problems

Imagine you are an immigrant that just Entered the US. You are to take a ½ page piece of paper and make a post card You must draw a picture on one side and write a letter on the other describing the life of an inmate Describe: crossing, reason for move, where did you go Must take up entire ½ page (picture) Post Card & letter
