2. Mission Business process management (BPM) will use a holistic management approach. Promote business effectiveness and efficiency while striving for innovation, flexibility, and integration. BPM can be described as a "process optimization process." The goal of this unit is to gain higher customer satisfaction, product quality, and time-to-delivery speed.

3. How do we do this? With both Auditing and business system management-- the process is the same. Interview custodians and stakeholders to determine what is suppose to happen Review the data to confirm that it matches expectations Identify risks: Are transactions being processed in accordance to policy and procedures? Are transactions following ‘best practices’? Are they efficient? Are they transparent?

4. Current Projects- Our Firs Building The Team We are in the process of building our team. The team will have: functional knowledge of the business processes (Finance, HR, or Student), knowledge of data structures and data flow Audit documentation and project management

5. Other Projects Banner Chart of Accounts Redesign This is part of the “Cost to Educate” Go Live Date is July 1 2012. When will we start rolling this out to you? We have been meeting with stakeholders for a month We are talking to “super users” We will be meeting the College’s leadership soon.

7. Other Projects Classification Steering Committee Resource Provide a resource to the CSC. Work with HRD&E to assist in documenting, evaluating, and processing changes.

Reporting Support Develop Financial Reports All the financial reporting that came from the CBO last year were built from excel spreadsheets and “hand crafted” Migrated to some real time report creation for Board reports Cash flow Actual to Budget Current Year to Prior Year Still more reports to go: Monthly Balance Sheet and Financial Ratios
