PART.1 Great bRITAIN. Great Britain is an island lying off the nestern coast of Europe. Great Britain is divided in 3 smalls regions called counties. The capital of: England is London. Scotland is Edinburgh. Wales is Cardiff.

THE MONARCHY. The Queen is supported in her official duties by other working members of the Royal Family what carry out a cuide range of public engagements. Prince Charles is presently heir to the British throne.He will not become king until his mother, Queen Elizabeht,abdicates,retires or dies.

Bruckingham palace. Bruckingham Palace is the Queen´s official and main royal London home. It has been the official London residence of Britain´s monarchy since 1837. ROYAL FLAG: When the Queen is at home, you can see her Royal Flag flying from the flag pole on top of Bruckinham palace. This flag is called the Royal Standard. Part.3 The Parliament It’s compose for MPs, Lords and the Queen. They make and change the laws of the U.K. The Parliament also checks the work of the Government. They have the legislative autority in the U.K.

The Government The Government has the responsability of the country. Their job is to make people obey the laws. They have the Legislative It is also known as the Executive.

Houses of Parliament The Houses of Parliament are divided in House of Commons and House of Lords. These houses are in the palace of Westminster. House of Lords: Members of the Lords play a vital role making laws and keeping an eye on the decisions and actions of the Government. House of Commons: People in the U.K. elect the MPs to represent their interests and concerns in the House of Commons. They consider and propose new laws and they can look to Government policies.
