District Vision Physical Education is a part of the required curriculum set by the State’s Education code Physical Education helps to provide state mandated minutes of physical activity Physical Education and improving students’ fitness is a part of the District’s Strategic Plan and Strategic Plan Score Card (1.9 and 1.10) Student fitness goals must be a part of the Campus Improvement Plan Student fitness is also a part of the Whole Child Every Child District Endeavor Research shows healthier students’ academic achievement is higher, attendance is higher, and discipline is lower
