Why Use Commissioner Tools? What do we want to have happen? – Prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Unit Commissioners must help strengthen Scout Units to fulfill this mission – Not all units are performing to the required level Assistant District Commissioners (ADCs) and Unit Commissioners must coach, train and teach Cub, Boy, Varsity and Venture Scout Leaders! How do you train if you don’t visit?
44
