4. 1. Overview The UC Pro requires following types of Activation Keys.

6. 1. Overview 1-3. Temporary AK 1-4. Trial Mode
“Temporary AK” means Activation Key for valid for a specific number of users, a maximum period of 45 days which starts from outputting.
This AK should be used for the case that the server machine is crashed, etc.
In that case, please contact your sales company/Distributor.
(Finally, PSN CS section will provide the temporary AK.)
* Temporary AK needs HWID binding.
1-4. Trial Mode
UC server has pre-installed activation keys for 25users and 45days period from installation. So, customers can use UC Pro environment without additional Activation Keys for 45days up to 25 users.
* Trial mode does not need HWID binding.

1. Overview
1-5. Hardware ID (HWID) binding
Activation Key (AK) for UC Pro user shall be bound with Hardware ID (HWID) that is generated according to the server condition to which UC Pro server is installed.
The binding (authentication) is executed by HWID binding system.

2-1 Ordering AK (CTI interface, UC Pro User)
Ordering flow to purchase UC Pro user AK is as same as the flow to purchase CTI interface AK.
Get Activation Key card (PDF file or CSV file or physical card) as same as other PBX AK.
* Model No., AK type and AK No. is printed on Activation Key Card.

32. 5 Important Information about HWID binding
Descriptions:
The Activation Key (AK) of UC Pro should be bound NOT to an MPR ID of the PBX but to a hardware ID of UC Pro Server.
After the AK is bound to the hardware ID, activation keycode, which functions like the existing activation key file to be transferred to the PBX, is registered to the UC Pro Server to enable the user to use the UC Pro clients up to the numbers allowed by the AK of UC Pro.
ATTENTION AK PURCHASER:
- Hardware ID Binding shall be done within ONE YEAR after the AK is issued by Panasonic, If the period is
expired,　THERE MAY OR MAY NOT BE THE CASE THE AK IS NO LONGER VALID TO CREATE THE
ACTIVATION KEYCODE.
- Be sure to inform your customers of the AK Delivery Date shown on the Panasonic e-commerce site
at the purchase of AK.
　 As the AK Delivery Date is the same as the AK issue date, it is easy to understand for the customers
the deadline of the Hardware ID Binding of the delivered AK.
- Hardware ID Binding is possible up to two times, just for the case the user replaces the hardware of
UC Pro Server　as the remedy when the server/hardware crashes.
　 The 2nd Hardware ID Binding for any other purpose is not authorised at all and shall be deemed as an abuse.
PSN will take any reasonable, ethical and legal measure to prevent and stop such illegal act.
