3. Neo Neo is a Central character who's role in the matrix is to wake everyone up. Reality is not what we think it is. Neo is chased through the Matrix by Agent Smith who is a computer program that eliminates anything that threatens the existence of the Matrix.

4. Trinity Trinity is the love interest of Neo. She is a computer Hacker who alongside Morpheus believes that Neo is the one.

5. Morpheus The Character believes that Neo is the saviour of the human race and will to do anything to save him.

6. Agent Smith He lurks around the Matrix and his role is to destroy Neo. He is fast, strong and dangerous

7. The Others The Oracle - Her role is trying to help but will only tell Neo what he wants to hear. Tank - was born outside the Matrix and helps Neo defeat his enemy’s. Cypher - A traitor to Morpheus and the crew of the ship. Dozer - the brother of Tank who dies rather horribly by being shot by Cypher.
