2. THE BASICS OF SOCCER Soccer is a non-contact sport that consists of two teams, a soccer ball, and a goal for each team. The objective of game is to use any part of your body except your hands and arms to score a goal. The goalie is the only player who is allowed to use their hands and arms to deflect the soccer ball from entering their teams goal. The players mainly use the insides of their feet to move and control the ball while leading it down the field passing it to their team mates attempting to score a goal.
