6. Next Steps The MOST important rule for writing a GOOD narrative is this: It has to look and sound like YOU are the creator. If it doesn’t tell the world something about your experiences/personality, then you are not being true to yourself and need to dig deeper. Because of this, you will have OPTIONS for the format of this assignment. The options include: Short story (obvi) Song Poem Movie Picture book (the pictures CANNOT be clip art and must serve to assist in telling the story) Something else that you propose to me that in no way resembles Powerpoint. I will be using the narrative rubric to assess your work, so be mindful of the items listed on the page.

7. Due Dates You must have the part where it says “Format of Narrative” filled in by TUESDAY. You will have time to work in class next week, but not every day. We will do story sharing on Wednesday, April 27. There is no class on April 26 due to PSSA testing.
