The human body is made up of trillions of cells. There are many different types of cells; each has a special function. Tissues – Groups of similar cells combine to form tissues. Organs – A group of tissues that perform a single function make up organs. Systems – A group of organs working together with a specific function make up a body system. Cells → Tissues→ Organs→ Body Systems
