5 Jelly Easily manifactured mass produced easy to manipulate to the shape of the can easy to manipulate the density and colour of the jelly We made several cans in order to represent the mass production featured in his work. Instead of making the can, we used the can as a mold we wanted to recreate the concept and not make an exact copy of his work We used paper plates and plastic spoons because they are also mass produced and cheap Use of fizzy lemonade fizzy, exciting, vibrant, more like the colours used we wanted to enhance the texture of the jelly Colours primary colours bright pop art made darker jelly for the top of the can to resemble the original design His soup cans are prints of soup cans you cant actually eat them putting the spoon inside the jelly created the same restriction Concept

7 Texture and taste No smell because we didn’t want to effect the flavour and natural smell of the flavoured jelly We chose jellys dependent on colour, not on taste

8 Process Test pieces to see how concentrated we needed the jelly to be cost and quantity Mass bought ingredients decided roles took off labels, emptied and cleaned out the cans made large batches of the darker layers of jelly put the spoon in to set when set, added the coin inside the darker layer added the lighter layer on top

9 Issues The concentration setting time deciding the appropriate objects to put in the can deciding can size correcting the spoon size extracting the jelly from the can sharp edge to the can top Transporting all the cans to uni
