Values- Nurses who specialize in pediatrics devote their knowledge and skills to caring for children from infancy through the late teen years and their families. These specialized nurses usually complete advanced training in pediatrics and collaborate closely with physicians and other health care providers who share their dedication to children’s health. Tasks and responsibilities- Pediatric RNs have many duties. They often document a patient's symptoms and medical history for the doctor to review. They also draw blood, administer medication and give childhood vaccinations. Pediatric RNs might also assist a pediatrician during a patient examination. Additional duties result from further specialization, such as pediatric oncology, dermatology or cardiology. Working with data-people-things- As a pediatric nurse you work with your patients and other workers. You use tools to help your patient and work with computers to type in information for our patient. Work environment- In a hospital with other people. Work hours- The standard working week is 37.5 hours. These hours can be worked in a variety of ways, usually depending on the role, the location and whether you work full-time or part-time. Education and training - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Although ASN programs provide students with adequate nursing training, a bachelor's degree provides greater clinical experiences and a stronger general education. A 4-year BSN program allows students to study specialized areas of nursing, including pediatrics, geriatrics and mental health nursing. Students may also study allied health topics outside of nursing through elective courses. Detectives are criminal investigators who are typically assigned to a specific department within a law enforcement agency. Detectives working in a special victims unit might investigate cases involving sexual assault, domestic abuse, or crimes against children or the elderly. Duties of these detectives typically include collecting information, interviewing and arresting suspects, compiling reports, and testifying in court cases. Police detectives, including those who work in special victims units, work on a full- time basis, though some cases might require overtime, night or weekend shifts. Police work can be mentally, emotionally, and physically demanding. Detectives are exposed to personal injury risk and might experience confrontation with hostile individuals in their job. I am interested in this job because I feel like it would be a fun job and I can help people.

Values- to help people Tasks and responsibilities- Police detectives interview suspects, witnesses, and victims as they try to piece together the story of how the crime that they are investigating occurred. Detectives work closely with their jurisdiction's Crime Scene Investigation Unit (CSI), which gathers the forensic evidence police detectives need to work their cases. They will continue to work diligently on a case until it is solved or until they can go no further with the evidence and other information they have gathered. They may be called to testify in court using the evidence and information that has been thoroughly and meticulously collected and analyzed by the detective, the forensics unit, and its crime lab. Police detectives are like victim advocates, doing everything they can to get justice for them while keeping them appraised of the progress of their case. You will have to work with computers and other devices to help your investigation, and will have to be able to use a gun and other things. Work environment- You will have to work in an office sometimes and go different places like homes to investigate. Aptitudes and abilities- Active listing, writing, reading comprehension, critical thinking, speaking, coordination, social perceptiveness, persuasion, time management, judgment and decision making, negotiation, learning strategies, complex problem solving, service orientation, instructing, and monitoring. Education and training- High school diploma or equivalent; some departments look for an associative or bachelor degree. Degree fields are law enforcement, criminal justice, administration of justice. 3-4 years of a police officer usually is required. Salary and benefits- Salary: The annual salary for someone with the job title Detective/Investigator, Except Public may vary depending on a number of factors including industry, company size, location, years of experience and level of education.
