1. Draw a series and parallel circuit. Each circuit has a 200 V battery and three resistors (5 ohms, 10 ohms, 20 ohms). 2. Is there anything you want to ask Mrs. Cheyne before the test? If your review was homework, turn it into the front lab table. Put your phone in your bag or on my desk. Phone not in your bag equals cheating – No questions asked. Take a breath…you can do this! You can write on the test You have 30 minutes to complete the test After the test do the following: Turn your test and answer documents in (front lab table.) Complete and turn in your cool down In your own words describe magnetism. Do you think magnets and electricity have something in common. Support your answer. Find something quiet to do. You can get a Chrome Book (maybe Membeam?). No phones until everyone is done.

Directions Measure the voltage of the battery. Turn the dial to 20 on the multi-meter (top left) Place one probe on the positive (+) and one probe on the negative (-) end. Measure the resistance of the resistors Turn the dial to 200 (bottom left) Place a probe on each side of the resistor Measure the current Turn dial to 20m (bottom right) Place the probe on each side of a wire in the circuit.
