1. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A JUNIOR HIGH MATH STUDENT MRS. TOPPER

2.  Students are expected to come to class prepared to learn.  Students are expected to turn in assignments daily – late assignments will only be accepted the next school day for partial credit (50%).  Incomplete assignments are not accepted.  All assignments must be completed with a pencil.  Problem of the week (POW) are assigned on Monday and due Thursday. If they are not turned in, the highest score a student can receive for their math homework that week is a 80%.  Students are required to take notes during class. If a student is absent, they need to get their notes from a friend. EXPECTATIONS

3. GRADING  Tests – 60%  Standard Check Points/Quizzes – 20%  Assignments – 20%  Assignments receive full credit if the following criterion is met:  Structure – includes work shown, neatness, organization  Content of answer –answer must be reasonable  On-time and complete (incomplete assignments are not accepted)  Work must be completed with a pencil  Shows corrections (red pen preferred)
