1 Character Suitcase Project A suitcase; decorated and made from a box or cardboard. Should have decorations and/or stickers on the outside depending on your character. A luggage tag with the name of the character and some sort of return address. SIX items the character would pack. These can be made handmade, from computers, cut out of magazines, or items you already own. Below are the requirements for each of the items. In this assignment you will imagine you are one of the characters in the book you have just read. You will try to imagine what the character would pack in a suitcase and why. These things can be both tangible (real objects) and intangible (feelings or memories). The project will have the following components (all are required but feel free to be CREATIVE!!):

RUBRIC FOR SUITCASE PROJECT Remember in a book report or project, you should be showing your teacher that you know your character well; their personality, behaviour, feelings, how they get on with others, why they act the way they do, what challenges they faced, how they manage to overcome difficulties, and what they learnt from their experiences.
