5. Types of Procedures:  Arthroscopic Procedure:  Transglenoid sutures, suture anchors, or tacks are used to reattach the labrum or ligaments  Advancements have improved tissue fixation and holding the reattachment more securely

6. Risks of Surgery:  1) Nerve damage and poor placement  2) Wound rupture and infection after surgery  3) Shoulder stiffness, instability, and failure of repair after surgery

7. Treatment Intervention Post-Op  Many different protocols  General Recovery  Therapy should start the day after surgery  Average Recovery time =3-6 months  Early Rehab Stages  External Rotation must be limited

13. 8-9 Weeks Post-Op  Exercises  Grade 1 & 2 Glenohumeral Joint Mobs  Modalities & Ice

14. 10-11 Weeks Post-Op  Exercises  Glenohumeral Joint Mobs  Modalities & Ice
