2 School in Škofije exists in this building since 1977. It has a gym and a playground, too. To school belongs also a kindergarten. It is in a separate building which was recently nicely renewed.

3 There are 259 pupils, 6 to 15 years old. And there are 135 children in the kindergarden, 1 to 5 years old. There are 30 teachers at school and 20 teachers in the kindergarden.

4 LESSONS We go to school from Monday to Friday. Our lessons start at 8:20 and finish at 12:45 or 13:35 or 14.40. Lenght of one lesson is 45 minutes. We have marks from 1 (the worst) to 5 (the best).

5 SCHOOL SUBJECTS and PLACES AT SCHOOL WE LEARN/HAVE: - Biology -Music -Geography -History -Etics -Mathematics -Science -Chemistry -Slovenian -English -Italian -PE -Art -Tehnicque - Home domestic -classrooms (13) -kitchen -dining room -some teacher offices -staff room -VNP (a place for different activities) -school gym -sports hall - toilets from the 1st grade

6 KITCHEN and DINING ROOM Most of the pupils eat breakfast and at school. Till the 5th grade you can also eat afternoon snack at school. The food is delicious.

7 We are in a European project School fruit and vegetable, so three times a month we get BIO fruit (apples, grapes, kiwi…) for FREE and kids eat it during lessons.

8 CLUBS and CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES We have some pets at school and we take care of them at biological club.

9 Quite popular is school hiking club; once a month kids go for a hike at weekend.

10 There are differents school sport clubs. Kids participate at many sport events also in the afternoons or weekends for the school.

11 Once a month we usually go on an excursion, a trip, we have sports days, nature days, technical days… In some grades, we go to 5 days long camps in nature and we have classes in woods… We hang out a lot there, we make new friendships, we play together…

12 We have olive trees around the school and every autumn we picked up olives together with kids. The olive oil is then used in the school kitchen.

Our school is called I. osnovna šola Celje. It is 130 years old. There are around 400 students and 40 teachers. There are 19 classes. There are two school.
